Today, I distanced myself from men,

And alone, in this gully,

独自在那峭壁上，

I began to gaze at the river,

And saw a horse all alone,

我看到一匹孤零零的马儿，

And listened all lonely

听见一只

To the cooing

离群的鸽子那

Of a lost dove.

孤独的哀叫声。

And the wind came close,

于是风围拢过来

Like someone passing by,

像路人似的

And told me:
